Pieces by the Italian genius and some of his apprentices are available at the Torre de Reloj Gallery

Leonardo da Vinci's work is not something to be taken lightly, much less something that we can ignore if the opportunity arises. To our fortune and delight, the polymath's works are available in one of the most representative galleries in Polanco: Torre Reloj, located in the eastern part of Lincoln Park. 

This iconic gallery, which began as a dovecote in the 3,000s (one that had up to XNUMX nests) and which was built by the architect Enrique Aragón Echegaray, has spent decades exhibiting a wide variety of national and international artists, making this property in one of the most representative places of the set of neighborhoods that make up Polanco. This time, the gallery dresses up to receive a set of works created by the famous painter, sculptor, inventor and architect.

But they are not only Leonardo's works. Altogether, there are a total of 11 oil paintings and two collaborative drawings by da Vinci and his apprentices, including Salaí, Bernardo Luini, Marco d'Oggiono and Giampetrino. Although the exhibited works are not the best known or representative of the Italian genius, together they have an approximate value of 285 million pesos. 

With the support of the Italian embassy in Mexico, this exhibition will be available from Monday to Sunday until November 25 of this year, with an entrance fee of 100 pesos per person. A gift, considering that he is one of the greatest teachers of all time.
